Maaya 2 Review

After the success of Maaya, Vikram Bhatt recently launched his web show Maaya 2 under the banner VB on the web. You can watch Maaya 2 on Jio Cinema.

The lead actress of  Maaya 2 are Leena Jumani and Priyal Gor.

This series is  Directed by Vikram Bhatt's  daughter Krishna, the show deals with the complexities of being in a same sex relationship. There are total 12 episode of 16 minute to 22 minute each. Ruhi Ahuja and Simmy Sood are the screen name of Leena Jumani and Priyal Gor.

The acting by Priyal Gor is good, but Leena Jumani in some point could not justify with her acting. Especially in Ruhi and Simmy fighting scenes it seems very fake. But the acting of Pranav Sachdev is good in selected scenes with dual changing nature. Especiaaly his much repeated line "Life Screws everyone" (Anangsha Biswas) Shanaya character in a shorter role has good performance. She is playing a bold character. Tanvi Thakkar as a journalist has some serious stuff.

VB on the web trying to create new content in Indian television/content space. Thanks to Amazon Prime, Netflix, Jio cinema now a days new and bold content are coming to the mainstream.
