Episode 2- The Victim
The story of episode 2 The victim is An Urdu poet falls prey to a revengeful baker, while Crime Branch interrogates the key suspects of missing painter’s case
The Urdu Poet with Lovina
In this episode the acting at the police station where the model witness is showing cleavage and fake accent is really bad acting. In fact the police staff was looking at the cleavage gives a bad and cheap feeling. This could have been avoided with some good acting.
The acting by the artist fiancee with the dog is as fake as it could get. Except Amit Sial and the sub inspector the other guys have a very casual acting. ( the seriousness of the show somehow lost for me because of these bad scenes) But the main character Lovina and the Urdu poet scene are quite intense and real.
In order to show creativity the Director has gone over the board, take example when Amit Sial interrogates the driver and kills him. Besides cheap acting by entire crime branch team at the police station. The only saving thing is Lovina ( Shruti's acting) and some of the characters with less presence like the Urdu poet or Father etc.
My rating of the series- 7 (after first episode), 6.5 after second episode. and after 3rd episode 4.5
