Das Boot in German meaning "The Boat"

At the outset I would like you to tell that I have watched a lot of war movies, But Das Boot is the best amongst them. Unlike some of the other war films where there is a lot of dramatised scenes with a dramatised victory This film is superb.

This film is about German war Boat U- 96 and its crew who desire to do their best for their comrades and their country. To control the Atlantic both the British and German are trying their best. The British with their Destroyer ship have an advantage, will the Das Boot crew will be able to patrol the territory with their U- 96 ? what happens in the end, will they meet head to head with the British naval ship ? watch it to find out.

The Movie is superb with the discipline of Germans in the Boat, the teamwork, the risk taking ability has been well depicted in the boat. How the creme of Hitler army is enjoying the drinks, sex and food and the crew members are risking their lifes to safeguard their country has been shown in a beautiful way. How the crew are depressed in the submarine boat is also intriguing. One scene where a soldier asks Do you have hair in your nose and the other soldiers says Why ? and the soldier answers I have some hair in my ass and thinking of tying them together was a scene to remember.
