Film Review U-Turn (Telugu)

U Turn is a 2018 Indian Telugu Thriller written and directed by Pawan Kumar.  It's the remake of ನಮ್ಮ ಕನ್ನಡ movie U turn. This Film is in Tamil and Telugu languages, it is a remake of 2016 Kannada film of the name U-Turn. The bilingual film stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the lead role alongisde Aadhi Pinisetty, Rahul Ravindran and Bhumika Chawla. It was released on 13 September 2018.

In this age of road rage and rash driving this film is an eye openor for carelessness by motorists. The acting of the startcast is superb. Samantha a trainee journalist  and Aadhi Pinisetty as a police officer shine in the film along with Bhumika Chawla and other cast.

Samantha a trainee journalist at Times of India who herself is writing an article about RK puram flyover rule breakers. The twists and turn about who broke the rules is a real thriller. Watch it to found out the mystery.

Fanney Khan review

Now Fanney Khan film starring Anil Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Rajkumar Rao is now available on Amazon Prime Video India. Fanney Khan Film show  it shows the love and struggles of a father for his daughter and fulfilling his unrealised dream through his daughter.

The film tries to capture the emotional connect between the father and daughter and fulfilling the dream. But in every department it fails. The emotion they tried to show could not reach me and perhaps most of the viewers. The talent of Rajkumar Rao is completely underutilized in this film except two three scenes like the interaction between him and the watchmen

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is playing the character of Baby Singh the successful singer who is unhappy,  A kidnap happens accidentally and everything was sorted. Very poor emotional connect with the film. I was really accepting that Aishwarya would have a much more role but actually not so. She shines with her small moments like the when Anil Kapoor asks about compromise in Music industry. 

The bst performance are from the newcomer Pihu Sand who is playing the role of Anil Kapoor's daughter  Lata aka junior Baby Singh and Divya Dutta who is palyiong as the wife of Fanney Khan. Their acting keeps the movie sane. 

In one line the movie is a one time watch if you have nothing else to do and nothing else to watch.
